Chief Executive Officer – Richard W. Taylor, ESQ.
An attorney, community and business leader, and entrepreneur, Richard Taylor brings to ImbuTec an exceptional track record in the architecting of deals. His understanding of stakeholder motivations and legal requirements derives from over seventeen years experience in business and governmental affairs, the energy services industry, regulatory practice, and environmental issues. Richard’s career includes appointments as federal and state governmental affairs representative, legal counsel, and Director of Knowledge Management for Consolidated Natural Gas Company (CNG) of Pittsburgh, and Director of Communications for Equitable Resources, Inc. As CEO of Macedonia Development Corporation, Richard led the development and initiation of housing development, and other community revitalization initiatives in Pittsburgh’s Hill District community.
Previously, Richard served as a law clerk for the Honorable James L. Dennis on the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, was a participant in Harvard University’s Summer Leadership Institute for Faith-Based Economic Development, and acted as an advisor to various congressional and presidential campaigns across the country. He received his undergraduate business degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and his law degree, cum laude, from Tulane Law School.
Currently, Richard serves on the boards of the Port Authority of Allegheny County, the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, and Macedonia Development Corporation. He formerly served as a member and Secretary of the board for the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh.
President & Chief Operating Officer – Stephan C. Davis
Steve Davis is a proven results-driven leader with many years experience as a seasoned executive, senior coach and human capital leader. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Energy Services industry, including key executive positions at two Fortune 100 firms.
At Dominion Resources (formerly Consolidated Natural Gas Company),Steve held a variety of operational, marketing and human resources roles, culminating in the role of Director of Organizational Development, where he helped reorganize the 5,200+ employee organization to realize savings of several million dollars in operating and maintenance expenses, as well as setting the human capital strategy around recruiting and diversity for the regulated business units of Consolidated. As Vice President, Human Resources for Equitable Gas, Equitrans LLC, Equitable Homeworks and Equitable Energy, he directed the restructuring of the entire organization, including reworking roles of top leadership to build high-performing teams and value drivers. Steve played a key role in assisting Equitable Resources become the top-ranked utility in the country in financial performance for 2002-2003.
Steve is very active in the community with a variety of boards, and has a passion for organizations that focus on youth mentoring.
Operations Manager – Fred Hill
Fred Hill has worked with ImbuTec since 2005. He began as a Customer Field Representative, promoted to Field Electrician and was promoted again to his current role as the Operations Manager. Fred served eight years in the Army Reserves. During this time he attended the Electronic Institute where he received a two year Associates Degree in electrical technology. Previously, he worked as an electrician for Columbia Gas and as a manager for the McDonald’s Corporation for ten years prior to that. Fred has also worked as a project manager, electrical field surveyor and field technician in his past.
Fred is very active in his church and serves as the prison minister.
Technical Sales Representative – Jim Twigger
Jim Twigger has been employed in the electrical and lighting industry since 1972. As technology has evolved over the years, Jim has attended various lighting schools, such as the ones offered by General Electric Lighting at Nela Park, Cleveland, Ohio; commercial and industrial lighting design courses by NAED (National Association of Electrical Distributors); and other seminars on energy efficient products in lighting. As the focus has recently turned towards energy efficiencies, Jim has been able to promote and provide various options to commercial, municipal and industrial accounts throughout the Allegheny, Washington, Fayette and Greene Counties of Western Pennsylvania by offering energy saving solutions to their existing lighting systems while decreasing their utility bills.
Over the past years, Jim has not only been active in developing relationships and helping all types of customers with their lighting and energy needs, but has been spending a lot of his energy, evenings and weekends working with the youth through his local church community where he resides.
Market Development Advisor – James R. Bryant
Possessing a management consulting perspective, James Bryant has innovative, solutions-oriented experience in Infrastructure & Operations, Business Process Reengineering, Strategic Planning, Supply Chain Management, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security and Business Development, in Fortune 100, start up venture, and public sector environments. In these roles, he has delivered professional services and solutions to various entities including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), NASA, ExxonMobil, GM, HP and Siemens.
In one key engagement, James led and/or coordinated initiatives for the start-up phase of a Science & Technology Directorate office that included infrastructure development and capital project stewardship, $700 million, and technology identification, contributing to an annual contract value of $50 million for Booz Allen Hamilton, a global strategy and technology consulting firm.
In addition to his corporate credentials, James has over 15 years of experience in the K-20 educational sector, with a focus on Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics, and has served in various capacities including board member, instructor and content developer in programs based in Pennsylvania, Washington DC and Texas.
James earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
