ALSI becomes Solid-State Lighting Quality Advocate
As
part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s “Solid-State Lighting Quality Advocates”
program, several of ALSI's ALLED™ brand lighting products were submitted
and have been formally accepted as meeting the DOE’s program requirements
to receive and display its “Lighting Facts” performance label.
“DOE’s
Lighting Facts program data is derived and audited from IESNA LM-79 test
reports,” stated Robert McAnally, ALSI’s Vice President
of Operations. “These test reports, from our DOE-certified independent
test laboratory, clearly show our products to be industry-leading, from
the perspective of total Lumens (light output), Lumens-per-watt (efficiency),
and color accuracy.”
