Innovative Product Line
ALSI holds or has filed for patents for a number of cutting edge innovations in its ALLED™ brand of LED lights:
- Advanced Cooling Design –a breakthrough achievement in LED fixture design – the ability to operate high-intensity LEDs at cool temperature levels. The greater the dissipation of heat in a fixture, the longer the operating life.
- Reflector Technology – Allows LED lights to be adjusted to deliver significant illumination exactly where it’s needed at a fraction of the energy consumption of HID and other LED fixtures.
- Programmable Chip Technology – Available feature on ALSI street light line that allows for customized light operation, e.g., power down during off-peak operating hours.
- Rapid Change Technology – Allows for easy onsite component replacement, repair and upgrades.
Solid-State Lighting Quality Advocates Program
As evidence of ALSI's commitment to the highest engineering and quality
standards, the company has been formally
accepted into U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s “Solid-State Lighting Quality
Advocates” program. The SSL
Quality Advocates program showcases LED luminaire manufacturers who commit
to testing products and reporting performance results according to industry
standards. DOE’s Lighting Facts program is factually derived and audited
from IESNA LM-79 test reports, from a DOE certified test lab.
In addition to becoming a Solid-State Lighting Quality Advocate, many of
ALSI's ALLED™ brand luminaires have been formally accepted as meeting DOE’s
requirements to receive and display its “Lighting
Facts” performance label.
